This painting has a sister. It is inspired by the older painting "Janus". With "Old Rose Janice" I tried to find a good composition for a bigger painting, it is 1x1 meters. I like that it turned out more chaotic than "Janus". To paint "Old Rose Janice" was very exiting for me because it was the biggest painting so far.
